Alexander McQueen SS17 Ready-To-Wear Review

This collection was definitely one of my favorites as the beautiful detailing and the divine looks that McQueen had portrayed were dreamlike.
A touch of McQueen's own Scottish heritage had been the source of inspiration for this collection which worked out gorgeously. The Victorian aura and the floral landscapes on the garments had me thinking of how timeless these looks are.

Burton's execution of the show could not have been more majestic as he incorporated versatile looks: floor-length dresses, wide leather belts, sweater dresses and embroidered biker jackets. They were all so perfectly tailored that it goes to show you, minimalism may slowly be a trend, fading out onto the horizon.

Every garment's hand-work detailing was remarkable. Overall, this collection remained true to the romantic heritage of McQueen and made me believe in fairy tales all over again.
